Christmas 2012

What a difference a year makes.......... We added 2 new cousins to the Phillips clan (Cameron and Mariah)....  We are expecting our second child........ And Cody has gotten really good at opening presents (and not just his own)!  It was a very special Christmas this year for many reasons!  We are so blessed by God to have such a great family to celebrate Jesus birthday with!

Big Brother Cody

The Browns are soon to be a family of four!  We are due to have our second child at the end of June 2013.  God continues to bless our family and words cannot express how happy each of us are about our new addition.  Cody's new favorite word is "baby" and he kisses momma's belly almost on a daily basis.

Mariah Jean Phillips

Cody has a new cousin.............. Tim and Monica welcomed Mariah Jean into the world in early December. Cody loves his "baby" cousin!  And she is a cutie!

Christmas Is In The Air

Breakfast with Santa wasn't a huge success....... although Cody loved the pancake breakfast at Old Hickory, he was terrified of Santa.  We did manage to get a family photo together, but had to tell Cody to keep looking forward so he wouldn't freak out that Santa was behind us!

And thanks to a co-worker, Cody got to dress as Santa's helper for a bit!  Priceless photos!

Cody's 2 Year Pictures

Rachel Myers did an amazing job capturing Cody laugh and play for his two year photos.  It took a while for him to warm up, but once he did, he was all smiles.  We went down to the riverfront in St. Charles and he especially loved playing on and with the train car!  Here are some of my favorites from the session!

Cody Turned 2

Wow, how time goes fast....... Jon and I can't believe our little boy is getting so big!  He enjoyed celebrating his birthday with family and friends!  We are still waiting for the "terrible 2s" to kick in as he is a sweet boy (although quite the little trickster) most of the time!

Mommy and Daddy's Helper

Cody is at the age where he loves to do everything mommy and daddy does and wants to help with everything.  Whether it be cooking, raking leaves, or helping daddy with homework, Cody wants to be involved.  We love our little man!

Pumpkin Patch

What a difference a year makes at the pumpkin patch..... His favorite part of the day was riding in the wagon....... his least favorite part of the day was riding the ponies!

Zoo and Halloween Fun

We did some new things on this trip to the Zoo.... Cody got to ride the train for the first time, picture on the infamous monkey, and we went through the new sea lion aquarium.  Plus him and his buddy Ella got their pictures with some pumpkins.

Blocks

Cody's new favorite past time is playing with his blocks.  He is really getting good with building them up too. Here he is playing with Papa.

Apple Picking at Eckert's Farm

Our family fall tradition....... going to Eckert's Farm to pick apples!  Cody had a great time from picking apples off the tree to eating an entire apple (core and all) while we were picking.  All of the pictures he is eating the same apple.  It was hilarious!

Cody Loves His Cousins

Cody has gotten to spend a lot of time with his cousins over the last couple of months and he has really started playing with each and every one of them.  He yells out BABY every time he sees Cameron and him and Brayden are becoming good buds.  I think Brayden likes that Cody is getting older and he can teach him a few things.
