More Playtime with Ella

Cody and Elizabeth (Ella) had a great time playing the other day.  She is 10 weeks older than him and he has caught up with her in size!  She was trying to put his feet in her mouth. touching his head, and finally put her arm around him.  It was too cute!

Eating Milestones

Cody has recently started to hold his own bottle.  He definitely knows when the bottle is coming near and will open his mouth really wide and reach for the "bah bah".  

Yesterday we started Cody on rice cereal!  After trying to give it to him before his bottle, we let him have his bottle first and then tried again.  He took to it really well and finished most of it.  Not sure how much he actually swallowed but not too bad for our first attempt.  I will add video footage soon!  

4 Months Old

Cody is 4 months old today............ where does the time go.  He is getting to be such a big boy and he is so happy most of the time!  He has really started to become more vocal and playful this month!  

Spring Is In the Air

After a cold and snowy winter, Cody has not been able to spend much time outside.  Recently he has been spending some time outdoors at the babysitter, and she says he really enjoys it!  Today we got to experience that for ourselves.  We brought the exersaucer outside while Jon was grilling and Cody had a ball!  Gotta love the new Cardinals hat I got him to cover his ears and head!

I Love to Stand on Mommy

Cody and mommy love their play time together.   Their newest adventure is Cody standing/walking on mommy's stomach while she is laying on the ground.  He smiles from ear to ear and drools like crazy!  They have a great time!

I Love My Exersaucer

Cody is really starting to enjoy his exersaucer and loves the lizard that says....... "red, yellow, and blue".  He is learning so much and his legs continue to get stronger by the day.  

I Look Like My Daddy

It is amazing how much Cody is starting to resemble his daddy.  Thought it would be cute to put daddy's hat on Cody!  It is a little big on him, but I am sure he will grow into it!

Bath Time Update

Cody still is not too keen on bath time.  He could be smiling and cooing and as soon as he hits the bathtub, he becomes serious man and rarely shows emotion.  He has become quite fond of post bath time play and cuddle time though.  Here he is playing in his towel.

Fun In the Sun

Cody loves being outside and taking in the fresh air.  He is sporting his sunglasses Mama gave him!  He continues to get more adorable each day.
