My First Cardinals Game

Cody was such a good boy at his first Cardinals game.  He made it through the 8th innings, which isn't too shabby for a 6 month old.  He got a little freaked out when the crowd got loud early on but was fine after that.  Too bad we didn't bring home a winner.  Go Cards!

My New Pool

Cody enjoyed his new pool, although the water was pretty chilly at first.  Isn't his new swim outfit adorable??!!

Brown Family Farm

We took Cody to Jon's parents farm near Mark Twain Lake this weekend.  He got to hang out outside and watch the boys do some fishing........ which he absolutely loved.  Me Maw and Paps loved having Cody at the farm.  He also got his first hotel experience, which didn't phase him much.  Thankfully for mom and dad, he slept awesome in his pack and play.

6 Months Old

Cody has grown up so much in his first 6 months.  Each day he grows and learns something new!  We are so proud of our little man and are enjoying each day with him!  He has enriched our life so much!

Sunday Funday

After a picnic lunch and fishing at Bush Wildlife...........

And some swinging in the backyard..........

I was pooped and ready to take a nap!

Bath Time Is Fun

Cody has taken a liking to bath time and his toys, specifically his plastic books that he can chew on.

Blowing Raspberries

Cody loves to blow raspberries.  It is his new way to communicate!

Sitting Up

We have been practicing sitting up and Cody is doing quite well.  He starts off by wanting his hands near the floor but then I said "no hands" and he brought them up.  I am so proud of my little man!  Now, if only I could witness him rolling over.

Playing With Daddy

Cody and Daddy love to play together (Mommy loves to play too).  We are really enjoying Jon being off school for a bit so him and Cody can have some quality time together.

Happy Mother's Day

I had a great Mother's Day thanks to my wonderful husband and awesome child.  We went to church, brunch, and to the park.  Cody got me a book of fairy tales we can share together and he even signed his own name on the card (with a little help from dad).   I am so grateful to be a mother and Cody Bear has added so much joy to my life!

Like Father, Like Son

Cody continues to act and look more and more like his daddy every day.  Even people we barely know comment on how much Cody looks like Jon.  Here is a cute picture of them dressed alike!

I Am Messy

Cody loves his rice cereal and oatmeal.  Like any other kid, he gets his food everywhere and has to be wiped down thoroughly after each meal.  We gave him his first taste of "real food" with carrots today.  He seemed to really enjoy!

More Advanced Tummy Time

Although Cody isn't quite rolling over yet, he has become pretty good at tummy time and doesn't mind it as much anymore.  It is only a matter of time before he rolls over!

My New Swing

Since Cody loves to be outside, cousin Brayden let Cody borrow his swing to attach to our tree in the backyard.  We tried it out this weekend and although he looks pretty serious here, I think he is going to love it!  Thanks Brayden!

I Love My Toes

Cody has really taken a liking to his feet over the past several days.  He is always looking for opportunities to pull on/play with his feet and has even started trying to put his toes in his mouth.  Makes mommy proud!
