Cody's First Christmas

Our family was very blessed and had a lot to be thankful for this Christmas! We received the best present anyone could ask for, our son Cody, a month ago and he continues to brighten our world each and every day! The Lord blessed this Christmas and was present in many ways........... from the beautiful snow falling on Christmas Eve, to our wonderful families that we were able to spend quality time with, to the beautiful Church celebration on Christmas morning, to the generosity of our families! We can thank the Lord enough on this Christmas for all the blessings he has given Jon and I and Cody!

1 Month Old

On Christmas Eve, Cody was 1 month old! Keeping with the tradition started by my sister Dana with her son Brayden, we will do a picture of Cody on the glider to track his growth each month over the first year. I can't believe how much our little man has grown over the first month! We are so thankful and so blessed he is doing well....... and eating like a champ!

I Helped Get Ready for Christmas

Cody was busy preparing for his first Christmas! He helped mommy and daddy make cookies (he wanted to be close to us so we put him in the front carrier while we baked), he went shopping with mommy to get presents, and he even sat on mommy's lap while she wrapped! What a great helper he was!

Sleeping in His Crib

For his first three weeks of life, Cody slept either in his bassinet in mommy and daddy's room, in his swing in the living room, or cuddled with mommy or daddy. Starting two nights ago, we moved him to his crib and he has done great! I think we are all sleeping better!

Tummy Time

We have been working on tummy time over the last week and Cody is getting pretty good at it! He really focuses on the toys and tries his hardest to get to them. He is holding his head up pretty well. Look at those feet and legs go!

Look at Me... I am Awake!!!

Here are some pictures over the last two weeks of Cody being awake and mommy and daddy playing with him. He is the most alert in the middle of the day and loves to look around at all of his surroundings!
