Big Boy Bed

In preparation for Baby Carter's arrival in June, we have transitioned Cody over to his new room which is "Trucks" theme.  This was him sleeping in his new big boy bed in his new room on the first night!  Our little man is growing up fast!  

Colorado 2013

The Brown Family headed to Breckenridge, Colorado for Mindy and Dan's winter wedding.

This was only Cody's 2nd time ever on a plane.  He did fantastic!

Outside of the wedding time, we swam in the indoor pool, played in the snow (there was a lot of snow), went on a horse and carriage ride, and enjoyed a meal in a late 1800's style log cabin.  

I had to get a picture with my little man wearing a tie for the first time at the welcome dinner.

Here a few pictures of Cody in his tux on the wedding day.  Overall, he was a very good boy that day!  Jon did have to escort the ring bearer down the aisle though (Daddy didn't mind)!  

First Day of School

Cody started school 2 days a week at the Child Development Center attached to St. Charles Community College in early February.  It has really developed his social skills and playing on his own, as well as helped increase his talking a little bit.  While a little timid at first, he is adjusting well to his new school.

Magic House

Cody really enjoyed his first trip to the Magic House.  I think his favorite was the water table and the library where he could check out books.  No trip to the Magic House is complete without the static electricity picture and "wild hair".

Winter Time Fun

Cody has been able to get out a few times this winter and try out his new bike (which he is learning quickly how to pedal and steer)........

He also has gotten a little use out of his toddler sled, which he has pretty much outgrown......

He has spent most of the winter doing activities on his activity table downstairs, including painting, plato, coloring, and reading books.  

Cody And His Cousins

Cody loves his new cousins.  It is funny to watch him entertain them and bring them toys.  I am not sure who entertains who more.  His favorite is "Baby I" which is how he refers to his cousin Mariah.

Christmas 2012

What a difference a year makes.......... We added 2 new cousins to the Phillips clan (Cameron and Mariah)....  We are expecting our second child........ And Cody has gotten really good at opening presents (and not just his own)!  It was a very special Christmas this year for many reasons!  We are so blessed by God to have such a great family to celebrate Jesus birthday with!

Big Brother Cody

The Browns are soon to be a family of four!  We are due to have our second child at the end of June 2013.  God continues to bless our family and words cannot express how happy each of us are about our new addition.  Cody's new favorite word is "baby" and he kisses momma's belly almost on a daily basis.

Mariah Jean Phillips

Cody has a new cousin.............. Tim and Monica welcomed Mariah Jean into the world in early December. Cody loves his "baby" cousin!  And she is a cutie!

Christmas Is In The Air

Breakfast with Santa wasn't a huge success....... although Cody loved the pancake breakfast at Old Hickory, he was terrified of Santa.  We did manage to get a family photo together, but had to tell Cody to keep looking forward so he wouldn't freak out that Santa was behind us!

And thanks to a co-worker, Cody got to dress as Santa's helper for a bit!  Priceless photos!
