Watch Me Play

Over the last couple of weeks, Cody has really developed in his movement skills.  He now crawls everywhere and uses objects (i.e. tables, chairs, TV stands, etc.) around him to stand up.  Watch and enjoy Cody playing with some of his favorite toys!  He is so playful right now.

Apple Picking at Eckert's

No better way to kick off Fall than going apple picking at Eckert's.  We had a great family day riding the ferry, picking apples, eating apples, and petting animals.  Cody had a lot of fun and as you can see by the bottom picture, he fearlessly stuck his hands into the pen to pet the animals. 

I Love Food

Cody has gotten really good at picking up food on his own and putting it in his mouth.  Although like most kids his age, I think more food ends up in his lap than in his mouth.  He is eating some of his favorites in this picture..... peas, cheese, and chunks of meat.  Cody is a true Brown....... he loves his food!

Fun at the Keeven Farm

It is neat that we can take Cody to a place that I started going to as a young kid........ the Keeven farm.  I can't wait to show him all the things we love about the farm.  We had a great time there this past weekend enjoying the beautiful weather.



Fun With Boxes

They always say that it is the simple things (i.e. paper, boxes, paper towel rolls, etc) that entertain kids the most and Cody is no exception.   

..... And I Can Stand Up On My Own Too

After less than a week of crawling, we witnessed Cody using his play table to stand up by himself.  This is not surprising since he loves being up on his feet and walking with the help of holding onto mommy and daddy's fingers.  The road to walking has begun....... and a few bruises in Cody's future I think.

After 9 months, Cody is officially on the move now.  He is still trying to figure out this crawling thing, as seen in the video, but he somehow gets where he wants to go.  We are so proud of our growing boy!



 

9 Months........ and Still Growing

I can't believe my baby boy is already 9 months old.  He now has 2 teeth, is almost crawling, and wants to constantly be up on his feet.  Mommy's little cuddly bear is almost on the move.

Uncle Tim's Wedding

Although I didn't get any pictures of Jon and I with Cody at the wedding (I know, what was I thinking), I did capture a few of him with his outfit on.  Cody was one of the ring bearers and was escorted down the aisle by his daddy.  We are so proud of Tim and Monica on their wedding!

Eating Big People Food

Over the last month or so, Cody has really broadened his diet to include numerous "big people" food.  He loves chunks of bananas, peas, blueberries, cheese, green beans, and whatever else we get near his mouth.  He isn't so good with picking up his own food, and I can't tell if he justs wants mommy to do it for him or he doesn't know how yet.  Like Jon always says about himself, "He is not exactly picky."
