First Snowfall This Year
Cody enjoyed his first real playing in the snow. It was only for a few minutes because it was so cold outside. As you can see, he walked around in it, tried to pick some up, and even fell face first. He was all smiles.
Swim Lessons
Cody started swim lessons at the Rec Plex last week. He did really well in his first class...... he didn't mind being put under water, he kicked his feet good, and he even jumped to us when sitting on the side of the pool. The only thing he wasn't a big fan of was floating on his back. This kid loves the water!
Riding in My New Wagon
Here is Cody enjoying riding in his new wagon on a gorgeous afternoon in January.
New Bath Toy
Cody received an octopus bath toy for his birthday and he loves it. That smile melts my heart. He has come to really love bath time!
Talking
Now that Cody has his walking down, he has decided it is time to focus on talking. He said his first words "mama" a few months ago, and has recently started saying it again. He has said "hi" a few times as well. He is starting to make some more sounds and vocalize more so I think it is just a matter of time.

Playing with My New Sled
Helping with Housework
Now that Cody is walking, he wants to help with everything that Mommy and Daddy are doing. This was him helping to do the dishes this evening. He makes housework so much fun!
Trip to the Zoo
Who would have thought that it would be 60 degrees on New Years Eve. We went with the Bockhorst's and Wallace's to the zoo to enjoy the nice weather.
Playing with My New Toys
Santa Claus and his family were very good to Cody this year. He must have been a good boy! Here is Cody playing with some of his toys he got for Christmas!
Christmas Day
We got to spend Christmas afternoon just the three of us and then off to Memaw and Pops for some more Christmas fun. We are so blessed to have such wonderful family to celebrate this holiday with.
Christmas Eve
Christmas Eve started with Jon reading Cody the story of Jesus birth.
Followed by some pictures with Mom and Dad......
Then it was off to Grandpa Floyd's and then to Mama and Papas to spend time with family. Notice how presents got opened this year....... all the kids helped! Cody had a fever most of the day (as seen with the rosy cheeks) but nothing could ruin this child's Christmas spirit!
